City Rail Fares

 
It is likely to cost something in the order of 50 billion dollars to improve the transport system, according to a proposal put forward by Ron Christie in this paper over five years ago. Does Premier Iemma think that commuters are going to be able to provide for this(Fare rise linked to rail network upgrade, July 25, 2007)? Sounds like a job for Treasury to me...
