SMHA spokeswoman for Morris Iemma claims people need to "take responsibility" for their lifestyles.
I - like tens of thousands of other Sydneysiders - would love to "take responsibility" for my lifestyle by embracing cycling. To do this, however, I need a safe, adequate and connected network of cycleways.
The Government in 2005 all but abolished funding for cycleways - and even ripped up one of the few inner-city bike lanes (on William Street) shortly after it was built.
Isn't it time Mr Iemma "took responsibility"?
